Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By accessing or playing RiftArmada you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the game.

These Terms are an agreement between you and Muhammed Erdem, trading as Cindaris Studios (NIF Z1331321V, Ctra. de Carmona, 40, Escalera B, 4B, 41008 Sevilla, Spain), who runs RiftArmada (“we”, “us”).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16, or older if the minimum age where you live is higher, and able to form a binding agreement. We ask for your date of birth when you register and refuse accounts below that age. Sixteen is the highest age of digital consent in the European Union.

3. Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Provide accurate information, and notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

4. Open beta

RiftArmada is pre-release software provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features may change or break, the service may be interrupted, and progress or accounts may be reset. Please do not rely on availability or persistence during the beta.

5. Acceptable conduct

You agree not to:

• cheat, or use bots, automation, or exploits;
• harass, threaten, or abuse other players;
• post unlawful, hateful or sexual content, or impersonate somebody else, in chat or in any name you choose (a nickname, a clan name, a clan tag or a clan description);
• buy, sell, or trade accounts or in-game items for real money;
• reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or attack the service.

5a. Chat, clans, and moderation

Anything you type in chat, and any clan name, tag, description or noticeboard post, is visible to other players and is recorded. We keep chat for 90 days so that a report can be investigated after the fact, and we keep reports and moderation records for as long as they are needed to enforce these Terms.

Any player can report you, and we may mute or ban an account, or rename or remove content, without notice where the conduct above is clear. A mute takes effect immediately, including in a session that is already running. Bans may be temporary or permanent.

5b. Reporting, blocking, and our 24-hour promise

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive players. Hate speech, harassment, threats, sexual content, and anything that targets or endangers children are removed, and the accounts behind them are muted or banned.

How to report:

• In the game: tap or click a player’s name in chat and choose Report, with a reason. You can also type /report, the nickname and the reason in chat.
• Block player, in the same menu, hides that player’s messages on your device at once. Type /unblock and the nickname to undo it.
• By email: write to contact@riftarmada.com with the nickname, the world, roughly when it happened and what was said. Use this for a nickname, a clan name or anything else chat cannot report.

We review every report within 24 hours. Where it holds, we remove or rename the content and mute or ban the player, and a ban can be permanent. Our chat filter also hides offensive words before other players see them.

6. Virtual items and currency

In-game currencies and items have no real-world monetary value, are licensed to you (not owned), are non-transferable, and are generally non-refundable except where required by law. We may modify, suspend, or remove them.

7. Purchases

The open beta has no paid purchases. If purchases are introduced later, additional terms and any applicable consumer-law rights will apply at that time.

8. Intellectual property

The game, its content, and trademarks belong to us (section 1) or our licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, revocable licence to play the game for your own non-commercial use.

9. Your content

Content you submit, such as a nickname, a clan name or a chat message, must be lawful and must not infringe the rights of others. You grant us a licence to host and display it as needed to operate the game, and we may remove content or moderate conduct.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for any violation of these Terms or to protect the service or other players. You may stop using the game at any time and delete your account.

11. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the game is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. This is especially true during the beta.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost progress or data, arising from your use of the game.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
